Snake Eyes is a new American superhero film directed by Robert Schwentke and written by Evan Spiliotopoulos, Joe Shrapnel, and Anna Waterhouse.
The film is a spin-off and the third part in the G.I. Joe film series, and it serves as an origin tale for the titular character Snake Eyes. It is based on Hasbro's G.I. Joe toy, comic, and media franchise. Andrew Koji, rsula Corberó, Samara Weaving, and Iko Uwais feature alongside Henry Golding, replacing Ray Park as the previous films.
Snake Eyes is a prequel film that tells the story of Snake Eyes, a trained ninja who works for the G.I. Joe elite. Snake Eyes has been one of the most popular characters in the G.I. Joe franchise, comparable to Wolverine of the X-Men, despite not being the team's leader.
While the tale of Snake Eyes differs from those of the famed Larry Hama's comics, the skeleton and themes of Snake Eyes stay the same: The secretive Arashikage ninja clan welcomes an outsider, who is honed into a fighter.
Snake Eyes' real name, who he is, and where he came from will be revealed to fans!
